As we enter 2013, we are seeing more and more announcements about new store openings and retail expansions in the Chicago suburban market. According to real estate analytics provider CoStar Group, the office net absorption rate in DuPage County is holding steady and the vacancy rate — currently at 17.1 percent — is forecast to decrease slightly in 2013. Country House Restaurant Getting New Spot in Lisle

After nearly 30 years in its current spot in Lisle, The Country House restaurant is moving to a bigger space in another part of the village.
Company officials confirmed the restaurant, which is best known for its "Country Burger," will be closing its location at College Square Shopping Center later this year. The restaurant then will reopen in a roughly 6,300-square-foot space at 2799 Maple Ave. More...
